Powering the future with the waste of today
Sustainable
Our entire process – from sourcing to packaging is designed with circular economy principles and environmental responsibility in mind
Scalable
With our process we can produce thousands of batteries per day and expand into the European markets in no time.
Affordable
Our production costs are lower than traditional batteries, making us competitive from day one.
At BioBliss, we’ve turned two of the world’s most pressing environmental challenges the massive accumulation of waste and the unsustainable, environmentally harmful battery industry—into one simple yet revolutionary solution: eco-friendly, high-performance button-cell batteries made from bio-waste.
As the world’s demand for energy storage increases, so does the reliance on lithium-ion batteries, which depend on rare and highly polluting minerals like lithium and cobalt. Their extraction depletes natural ecosystems, drives up global emissions, and causes long-term harm to communities and biodiversity. At the same time, millions of tons of biowaste end up in landfills or are incinerated, releasing harmful emissions and wasting valuable resources.
BioBliss addresses both problems in one simple and clean innovation. Our technology uses a novel, scalable process to upcycle any kind of bio-waste including food scraps, agricultural residues, and even PET-based plastic, the most commonly used type of plastic into hard carbon, which we use as the main material in our battery anodes. This replaces the need for scarce, imported, and environmentally destructive materials. Our solution not only reduces the carbon footprint of batteries but offers a closed- loop, circular economy model for the future of energy.
Our innovation is not limited to the product. We embed sustainability throughout the entire value chain: we use low-energy production processes, rely on local sourcing to minimize transport emissions, design sustainable packaging, and ensure the batteries are recyclable at end-of-life.
